A stellar pair of black leggings are a wardrobe staple that I can’t live without. But finding them isn’t always the easiest. Sure, I’ve had some that were comfortable, but I realized later on that they were a little more see-through than I thought. I’ve had some that unraveled after a handful of washes, and I’ve had to throw away a pair that developed a hole in them after a few travels. I’d never owned a pair that were particularly slimming, either. But all that changed when I found Comm-ci leggings! I kid you not; these leggings are THE most durable and soft I’ve ever seen. I tried the Black High-Waist Skinny…and when I tell you that I’ve worn them non-stop for the past month, I’m serious. These are slimming, too! For $69, these are the last pair of leggings you’ll ever need to purchase. Get them asap!
Now to my Laser Genesis update. I went in for my fifth treatment at Vitalize Medical Spa last week, and it was awesome! I’d been experiencing some breakouts and peeling from using an increased percentage of Rentin-A , and the Laser Genesis treatment cleared all that up. It tightened my skin, reduced my fine lines, and got rid of my breakout! Though my skin was super sensitive due to the Retin-A, the laser didn’t irritate it further. It only made it glow. Plus, my pores have started to look smaller since starting this procedure. If you’re in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, Vitalize Medical Spa is amazing; they have the magic touch!
Once I had my Laser Genesis treatment, I knew I needed to keep my skin as smooth and hydrated as possible. I tried three new products that I love, starting with Tulasara Wedding Masque Overnight and Tulasara Wedding Masque for Eyes Overnight. Aveda is one of my favorite brands, and I already love the Tulasara Firming Concentrate. So these two new products were top of my list of things to try! The Tulasara Wedding products are nothing short of amazing. Go online and read the reviews from people who have purchased them. You’ll see an overwhelming amount of love and devotion to these little wonders. I learned from experience that the overnight masque aspect means you’ll wake up with hydrated skin, brighter skin, and clearer skin. You know that glow you get after you have microdermabrasion or a deep facial? The Tulasara Wedding Masque and Eye products mimic that result. This year I’ve really begun to focus on wearing a thicker night cream to keep my skin moisturized all seven or eight hours while I sleep, and this helps does it. (Plus, when you use these products, you’re getting the natural benefits that Aveda products provide. No harsh chemicals and weird ingredients.)
The other product I love is StriVectin’s new Active Infusion Youth Serum. I like to use this first thing in the morning before my moisturizer and makeup. It has a crazy awesome plumping effect for fine lines; mine look softer and less prominent after using it. It’s a lightweight texture (not sticky like some serums,) and feels really lovely going on. Because let’s be honest….if I’m spending $89 on a face product, I want it to feel/smell luxurious= worth the price tag! This is another product that has glowing reviews by users. I love reading how other people add it to their skincare routine. I plan on sticking with this as my first step in the morning. I’ve noticed I need to use less makeup since trying this product, which is also pretty darn nice.
Okay…go out there and attack the day! I’ll be back in a day or two.
