Shoulders. Showing shoulder is such a simple thing, but very powerful. When I heard about a brand called “Delphine“, I instantly fell in love with how clean and minimal their designs are. I love this combo for two reasons:

  1. You can wear minimal design with everything…any shoe, any handbag, any accessory.
  2. A clean look is always classy.

This off the shoulder black “Pretty Thoughts” top from Delphine was exactly what I needed. It’s the perfect lightweight fabric-not too sheer or thin. It rests comfortably on your shoulders and has elastic to keep the shirt from slipping out of place. And the detailing on the sleeves? Super cute. Looks pretty good with these jeans, too.

I think if you buy one thing this spring, this shirt needs to be it. You can wear it with pants, skirts, jeans…basically to any event. Weddings? Check. Party? Check. Date? Check. Visiting in-laws? Check. Baby Shower? Check. You see? Wise investment.

Another wise investment is in brands that are eco-friendly and not harmful to your body. You may have noticed that I’ve mentioned a few of my favorite Erin’s Faces products in recent blogs. This product line is everything it claims to be, and that alone is enough to keep me coming back for more. This liquid eye shadow in Aurora is the easiest eye shadow to use because you just swipe it on with the applicator, blend with your ring finger and you’re good to go! I blended it with a powder shadow in these photos, along with tons of mascara. Isn’t it a pretty color? Don’t be scared of the pewter appearance; it looks lovely on. I think you’ll really love Erin’s Faces…read the reviews on her site and you’ll see why people are so crazy about these products. (Plus, if you need to know how to use them, Erin posts some really fun how-to videos!)

I’ll be back with some of my adventures at SXSW later on this week!
